    Pauline Crosby was an Australian who served in the British Women’s Voluntary Service* during World War II. The experience she gained from this organisation, during the war years, greatly influenced her later participation in other voluntary organisations, and in every organisation she gave herself wholeheartedly and selflessly in fulfilling their aims. Born Pauline Medwell on 16 February 1915, in Burra, South Australia, Pauline would spend her life committed to serving others

    Faith in Promises

    The Christian calendar has been preparing us, both Christians and non-believers, for Easter. It is a significant event, even if looked upon only as a holiday break and an opportunity to overindulge in chocolate and special treats. What took place at the first Easter is the foundation of the Christian faith, because of the resurrection of Jesus and his triumph over sin and death.
