So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

 

O Loving Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us your word which tells us that you have provided for us no matter what situation we may find ourselves in. Thank you for sending Jesus to show us how to live a Godly life. Increase our faith so that we may humble ourselves to come before you and claim everything you have in store for us. This is our inheritance as children of God. Add to our faith perseverance and patience as we humbly seek your will for our lives. We give you all the glory. In Jesus’ name we pray.
