You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last – and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

 

Dear Lord,

What a privilege it is to be assured that we have been chosen and appointed by you so that we might reach out to others and bear fruit in your name. Help us to live the life that you have planned for each of us and to carry out the work that you have prepared for us to do. Thank you for the assurance that when we pray in Jesus’ name our prayers will be heard and answered. AMEN
