He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.

 

Heavenly Father, as we deal with our busy lives, working in jobs, church groups and the community, caring for our husbands, children and grandchildren, help us to find time to be still, to spend time in prayer and to study your word. Help us to make a special time each day to spend in quietness with you.
