But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore, tell her to help me."

 

"Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

 

Heavenly Father,

When we find ourselves like Martha, worried, upset and resentful about many things, help us to bring our troubles to you in prayer and, like Mary, choose to focus on what is better, and turn to your word with faith. ​AMEN
